Abstract

The collection consists of baptisms*, first communions, confirmations, sick call register, marriages*, and deaths. Due to inconsistencies in pagination and transcription of data, researchers are encouraged to refer to all volumes within each series. There are no death records for the years of 1901 - 1930 in any of the books. The church has put a note in the record book for the years 1893 - 1952 regarding these deaths.

Abstract The initial collection consists of three volumes of Baptismal records and indexes, two volumes of First Communions and Confirmations, three volumes of Marriages and two volumes of Death records. Also included are two volumes of lot owner's records from St. Rose Cemetery, located in Perrysburg. Local agricultural association incorporated as the Farmers Commercial Grain and Seed Company, Risingsun, Ohio, in May 1912; its purpose according to the articles of incorporation was for the "dealing in hay, grain, flour, seeds and such other articles as are usually connected with a general grain business."

Scope and Contents The activities of the Swanton Garden Club are detailed through the club’s monthly minutes from January 1953 through August 1988. Minutes include the date and time of each meeting, its location and hostesses, excluding those months when the meeting was a club outing, and the activities performed.
