LUCY NEFF logbook

The Lucy Neff was a wooden vessel built at West Bay City, Michigan in 1893 as the W.P. Ketcham; renamed the Lucy Neff in 1902 and served in the coastal trade; foundered during a storm on December 17, 1915. This logbook details a difficult voyage from Detroit San Francisco, winter-over for repairs in Maine, and another voyage down the coast and to California, covering 1907-1908.

Ship originally built for the Dearborn Transit Company as the E.L. WALLACE and operated by them between 1906 and 1915.
