The material documents the years 1937-1972. However, the bulk of the minutes, financial statements, membership lists, and convention materials falls between the years 1950-1969.
International Typographical Union, Local 63 (Toledo, Ohio) records
The collection consists of correspondence, financial records, agreements and contracts with the Toledo Blade publishing company, apprentice materials, strike reports, convention and conference programs and reports and miscellaneous brochures and newspaper articles. Records extend from 1863-1963. However, the majority of the material documents the years 1909-1958.
International Typographical Union, Local 296 (Lima, Ohio) records
Minutes, roll book, correspondence, financial reports and newspaper clippings. The collection extends from 1918 to 1976. However, most of the records are concerned with the 1957 lockout of the Lima News.
International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftsmen, Local 46 records
The collection consists of records generated by Local 2 (Fostoria), Local 19 (Fremont), and Local 26 (Tiffin), locals which merged along with Local 37 (Sandusky) in 1975 to form Local 46 (Fremont). Included are minutes, financial records, a roll book, and a photograph of the Seventh Annual Ohio State Conference of Bricklayers (1912).
