Methodist Church in Fremont, Ohio, formed out of four congregations of the Green Creek Circuit of the Sanducky County Methodist Conference, including Eden United Methodist Church, Bettsville, the Mount Calvary United Brethren Church, Washington Township, the Mount Lebanon United Brethren Church, Fremont, and the Methodist Protestant Church, Fremont.

Abstract The collection is comprised of birth, baptismal, confirmation, communion, marriage, and death records, some of which are written in German, and contained in nineteen record books kept by Reverend Henry Lang (1852-1890). The earliest information can be found in the church record books which date from 1843-1941. In addition, six minute books of the Ladies' Society and the Women's Home Missionary Society, dating from 1891 to 1945, are included in this collection. One church record book, dating...

The collection consists of baptisms, first communions, confirmations, convert register, marriages, interments and deaths. Due to inconsistencies in pagination and transcription of data, researchers are encouraged to refer to all volumes within each series. (See order of microfilming for a detailed list of these records.)

Abstract

The collection is comprised of three parish record books which date from 1842-1876. The first volume contains the parish vestry records and treasurer's reports. The second two volumes include information on membership, specifically baptisms, confirmations, communicants, marriages, and burials. Also included in this collection are two volumes of proceedings of the Women's Auxiliary and annual meeting programs, dating from 1912 to 1941.
