Collection Overview
Abstract
The collection is comprised of birth, baptismal, confirmation, communion, marriage, and death records, some of which are written in German, and contained in nineteen record books kept by Reverend Henry Lang (1852-1890). The earliest information can be found in the church record books which date from 1843-1941. In addition, six minute books of the Ladies' Society and the Women's Home Missionary Society, dating from 1891 to 1945, are included in this collection. One church record book, dating from 1890-1941 and two volumes of church council minutes dating from 1874-1892 and 1912-1941 are located at the end of the roll of microfilm.
