Bucyrus (Ohio) -- Church history

The collection consists of the following: Record Book (1871-1893), Record Book (1894-1921), Record Book (1920-1927), Record Book/Membership Roll (1927-1970), Membership/Church Record (1962-1968) and Membership Register/Church Record (1968-2004). Additional information regarding this parish may be found in the records of Brokensword United Methodist Church (MS 131).

This collection consists of one record book dating from 1900-2008. The record book contains membership records, some death dates, and funeral cards.

The bulk of the collection consists of four volumes of session minutes, dating from 1838-1893 and 1950-1965. These minutes include information on the session meetings as well as the names of those admitted or discharged from the church and baptisms conducted. Also included with the collection is a church record book, 1867-1885, which includes membership lists and baptisms, marriages and funerals conducted at the church, and a minute book of the congregational meetings, 1872-1914.

The collection dates from 1871-1934 and includes church record books.

The collection is made up of the Quarterly Conference Books of the Bucyrus Circuit (June 1877-June 1924, September 1924, March 1925, September 1940-May 1941) which contain minutes, financial reports, and membership lists of the churches involved.

The collection consists of baptisms, first communions, confirmations, marriages and interments. Due to inconsistencies in pagination and transcription of data, researchers are encouraged to refer to all volumes within each series. (See order of microfilming for a detailed list of these records.)

The collection dates from 1921 to 2005 and includes church records, membership books from both the Lykens United Methodist Church and the Concord Methodist Church in Brokensword, Ohio. It also includes one financial ledger from the Concord Methodist Church.

The collection (1897-2010) consists of five record books. Records include constitution, membership lists, baptisms, births, marriages, deaths and burials, confirmations, annual meetings and elections, communions, transfers, and Church history.

St. John's United Church of Christ (Bucyrus, Ohio) records collection consists of memberships, communicants, baptisms, deaths, marriages, confirmations, and roll of pastors.

This collection consists of two (2) record books and five (5) Minute books. The church was founded in 1829. The records date from 1833 to 1927. The history of the Church is written in the 1883-1900 record book.

Included with this collection are the records of the New Winchester United Methodist Church.
