This collection is composed of approximately 1,880 35mm color photographic slides of Great Lakes vessels. Slides in this collection were taken by Bruce A. Terry, an amateur photographer. Photos were taken on Lakes Erie, Huron, and St. Clair and along the St. Marys, St. Clair, and Detroit Rivers from 1963-1977.

Captain John Paxton and his journal
Journal of the captain of the Great Lakes schooner SPARROW, between 1848 and 1851, with historical and biographical notations by the compiler, Rilla King. The SPARROW was built in 1845 and lost in 1855.
