Collection consists mainly of catalogs from record distributors, publishers, and some record stores; some of these catalogs were intended for individual consumers or collectors, but others were for the proprietors of record stores. Some folders also contain press releases, communication from labels and distributors, newsletters from labels, and new release notices; when there were many of these non-catalog items for a particular publisher, they have been arranged in separate folders, but...
