The collection consists of personal and business correspondence to and from Ruihley, newspaper clippings about Ruihley and the park in Archbold that was named after him, greeting cards, certificates, and photographs from 1876-1979.

Bender family collection
The Bender Family Collection consists of correspondence dating from 1865 to 1898 written by the daughters-in-law and daughters of Peter and Elizabeth Bender (Eveline Goff Bender, Caroline Bender Wack, Betsey Powell Bender) and members of their families. There are also letters from the daughter of Jacob and Melissa Bender and letters from Philip Fowl, the husband of Catherine (Bender) Fowl.

Bernard Sternsher papers
The Bernard Sternsher papers contain reports, articles, and research documenting Sternsher's research interests between 1933-1994. Sternsher was a professor of history at Bowling Green State University and focused much of his research on the New Deal and American political history. Also included are research papers prepared by Sternsher's students between 1958 and 1993.
