Marsden, Michael T.

The BGSU Oral History collection consists of transcripts and audio tapes of interviews with people associated with the University. In total, 70 interviews with 66 individuals are represented in the collection.

The Coastermania Collection consists of material relating to the "Coastermania" course taught at Bowling Green State University during the summer of 1978. Included are items from the preparation, execution, and aftermath of the course, dating from 1977-1980.

The Dr. Michael T. Marsden Papers primarily consist of correspondence, research files, notes and manuscripts related to Dr. Marsden's publications in the field of popular culture.

The Michael Marsden Collection on Andrew M. Greeley consists of fiction manuscript materials by the author dating from 1985 through 1988.

The Popular Culture Association/American Culture Association (PCA/ACA) Records consist of proceedings, meeting programs for national and regional conferences, newsletters, copies of academic papers presented at conferences, newsletter and website editorial files, video recordings of select conference panels, microfilm rolls of newsletters and conference proceedings, and photographs, and other materials.

Proceedings of the Popular Culture Association's fifth and sixth national conventions, held in St. Louis, MO, on March 20-22, 1975, and in Chicago, IL, on April 22-24, 1976, respectively. Both conferences were co-sponsored by Bowling Green State University. Proceedings were compiled by Michael T. Marsden, then Professor of Popular Culture at Bowling Green State University, and editorial assistant Marilyn Huffman.
