Ferry built by Craig Shipbuilding in Toledo, Ohio in 1900, operated by Arnold Transit Co. at Mackinac Island until 1907 when sold to Puget Sound Navigation Company in Seattle, WA. Engineer's log for a voyage between Hoboken, NJ and Seattle, WA between Feb 18 and May 9, 1907.

Scope and Contents
The Lucy Neff was a wooden vessel built at West Bay City, Michigan in 1893 as the W.P. Ketcham; renamed the Lucy Neff in 1902 and served in the coastal trade; foundered during a storm on December 17, 1915. This logbook details a difficult voyage from Detroit San Francisco, winter-over for repairs in Maine, and another voyage down the coast and to California, covering 1907-1908.
