Biographical / Historical

Christ the King Catholic Church began by decree of Bishop Rehring. Father Basil Goes was appointed to organize the new parish. It was officially established on December 5, 1952. Father Goes was named the parish's first pastor. Their combination church - school was completed in 1954. In 1982, the church was renovated.

Immediate Source of Acquisition

The records of Christ the King Catholic Churc were transferred for microfilming to the Center for Archival Collections in May 2001, with the cooperation of Father Michael Brown of Christ the King Catholic Church, Toledo, Ohio.
