Custodial History
This logbook is one of five that were pulled from the wreck of the DANIEL J. MORRELL in 1981 by scuba diver David Trotter. Trotter donated the set to the Dossin Marine Museum (now the Dossin Great Lakes Museum) on Belle Isle in Detroit. Curator John Polacsek had them freeze-dried by a vendor. The logs were rebound by the Center for Archival Collections (CAC). Four of the logs were retained by the Dossin Museum, and the other was transferred to the CAC.
