United Steelworkers of America. Local 190, District 27 (Globe Steel Company, Mansfield, Ohio) records

The Local Union 190 collection documents multiple aspects of the union's activities during the years 1961-1966. The collection, however, does contain a secretary's minute book documenting union activities from 1942-1967. The Bulk of the records address financial documents, contacts and the Union's treasury balance. These records include monthly financial statements from 1964-1965, audits reports from the USW International Union from 1965-1966 and the summary of audits for Local 190 from 1962 and 1966.

Another record series is set of documents that show the activities of the Union's Committee on Political Education (COPE). Including a certificate that was received do to their COPE efforts and a summary of their COPE collections.

A third record series includes various items from the USW International Union, including changes in the elections manual, by-laws for local unions, ballots, tally sheets, and lection results.

A very small record series deals with the establishment of Local Union 190's Committee on Civil Rights.

A second small record includes correspondence on the change in union representation to A.J. Clark.
