Scope and Contents
The St. Paul Lutheran Church records consist primarily of eight volumes of baptismal, communion/confirmation, marriage and death records. The earliest volumes, beginning in 1857, are written in German. Included in the collection are the Trustees' Minutes from 1899-1941 and the minutes of the Building Committee for the new church erected in 1888. Finally, ten financial ledgers exist which list members and contributions; notably, the pledges for the building fund in 1887-1888.
