Scope and Contents
This collection documents some of the activities of the Department of Sociology at Bowling Green State University, and some of its faculty. In addition to class schedules, workload reports and annual reports from the late 1960s, there are documents regarding the Ohio Valley Sociological Association, American Sociological Association and the Ohio and national councils on family relations.
Biographical / Historical
Sociology classes have been taught at BGSU since the 1930s. A PhD program was introduced in the early 1970s.
