Biographical / Historical

Culture Club: The Cultural Studies Scholars' Association was formed in 2006 as a collaborative effort between graduate students in American Popular Culture and Popular Culture. Membership, however, was open to students of any program and it seeks to work collaboratively with graduate students from American Culture Studies, the Departments of Popular Culture, Theatre and Film, Psychology, History, and other disciplines with an interest in Cultural Studies. To pursue its goal to be an interdisciplinary organization designed to promote the critical study of culture, society, media, and history, the main focus of the group is holding a national graduate student conference.
