The materials in this collection primarily focus on the rosters of the players who have been involved with the sports program at Bowling Green State University. Also included are excerpts of BGSU sports history as found in print outs of online articles, newspaper articles, and oral interview transcripts with people affiliated with sports at BGSU. This collection is useful for a general history of specific sports at BGSU, the yearly results, and to find out which players where affiliated with which teams and the specific program statistical leaders.

Immediate Source of Acquisition

This collection was compiled by Dr. Nancy Spencer from research done by her class, Sports Management 2210: History and Philosophy of Sport.

Processing Information

The contents of the collection were originally housed in 3-ring binders. During reprocessing in 2018, the contents were removed from those binders and placed into folders in order to conserve space.
