Scope and Contents
Materials collected by Harry K. Goodman over the course of his construction career on the Great Lakes. The bulk of the materials document the construction of the harbor breakwater at Oswego, New York, via both company construction files and a scrapbook (1958-1960). Another scrapbook depicts a number of Great Lakes construction projects. The remainder of the collection consists of a small amount of corporate records from Stadium Boat Works, Inc. (1952-1966), and a small amount of miscellaneous photographs, publications, correspondence and clippings.

Biographical Sketch
Harry K. Goodman served in supervisory capacities with several marine construction firms along Lake Erie from the 1950s to the 1980s. He served as a manager for the L.A. Well Construction Company in Cleveland, Ohio, as well as Vice President for the Esco Dredge and Fill Company and Erie Sand and Gravel, both located in Erie, Pennsylvania.
