Biographical / Historical
Formed in the early 1970s, the Women's Caucus was devoted to identifying and solving issues faced by women on a university campus. Originally only open to female faculty members, in 1976 it expanded its membership to include faculty, students, and university staff at all levels. After a period of dormancy, the Women's Caucus re-emerged around 2009 as the Graduate Women's Caucus.
