Biographical / Historical
LGBT outreach and support organizations have existed on the BGSU campus since the early 1970s. Initially called the Bowling Green Gay Liberation, formed in 1972, the group was re-activated in 1975 as the Gay Union. Later the group reorganized and changed its name to Choice in February 1982. Around 1999, the organization re-emerged as Vision, which became the Queer/Trans Student Union in fall 2017.
