Abstract

Scrapbook of a student at Bowling Green State University between 1929 and 1933, documenting her experiences in Bowling Green and for a few years afterwards as a teacher. Notable events documented during the period include the festivities surrounding the centennial of the town of Bowling Green, and the unsuccessful state proposal in 1933 to close the university and turn it into a state welfare institution. Scrapbook was disassembled and some items copied for preservation purposes. Inventory of items, with an added biographical sketch, included with the material.
