The collection documents the business operations of the Northwest Ohio Speech and Hearing Association. The collection includes the 1981 newsletters, 1988 bylaws, and 1961-1974 minutes. Scattered throughout are correspondence and officer lists between 1974-2002, directories between 1967-1998, and workshop and banquet information between 1973-2003. The collection also features material from the Ohio Speech and Hearing Association. It is unclear from existing documentation whether the latter existed as a separate organization or was the result of a name change or merger with the Northwest Ohio Speech and Hearing Association.

Immediate Source of Acquisition

The collection was donated to the Center for Archival Collections in November 1988 by the Northwest Ohio Speech and Hearing Association. Additional donations by staff members were added in July and October of 1995.
