Joseph Lowry collection
Lowry was a pioneer settler of Berlin Heights in Erie County, Ohio. He was a master builder and carpenter who did much work with the Huron Steamboat Company. The collection also contains copies of Lowry's obituary and that of his wife, Rebecca.

Lay Brothers Fisheries, Inc., records
The operation of a Lake Erie fishing company from 1889 to its closing in 1961 is documented in this collection. Financial and legal papers form the largest part of the collection. A drawing series (1894-1960) show plats for company property and plans for company buildings and equipment.
Ledger for Morten and Co.
A ledger for a grocer based in Cleveland, OH, which provided supplies for a number of Great Lakes vessels, most notably the passenger steamer FOREST CITY.
Ledger of ship manifests and farm expenses
A ledger, creator unknown, detailing the cargo of ships arriving at the port of Brooklyn, New York, from 1807-1812. A later section of the volume is a ledger detailing labor and wages for a farm, presumably also in New York. This covers the dates 1811-1846.
