Scope and Contents

Audio tapes of live performances by Ted Nugent, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, Bob Seger, Charlie Daniels Band, and Moonlight Drive, as well as a radio special commemorating John Lennon's death, all broadcast on WMMS Cleveland in the 1970s and 1980s. All reels were likely dubbed by WMMS employees or contracters from master tapes not held by BGSU.

Biographical / Historical

WMMS, broadcasting on 100.7 FM, has been a Cleveland-area radio station since 1946, and has had a rock or progressive rock format since the 1960s. They broadcast many live concerts, including their Coffee Break Concerts, which were a mix of performance and interview content, in the 1970s and 80s.
