Biographical / Historical

James E. Martin began writing detectvie mystery fiction while on the police force in Norwalk, Ohio. His first published novel was The 95 File (1973). Martin wrote five more novels while working as a police officer, before becoming a full-time writer in 1986. He has since written several more books, including Mercy Trap and And Then You Die.
