Sandra Kitt Papers

This series consists of visual artwork created by Kitt for greeting card designs. This includes artwork created for cards printed and distributed by UNICEF; it also includes artwork created for Kitt's personal use. This series also includes handmade holiday ornaments created by Kitt.

Items are organized by size/weight (with the delicate handmade ornaments on top) and by date when known.

This subseries consists of original artwork for holiday cards (mostly Christmas cards) and other greeting cards created by Kitt. This includes personal cards that Kitt created to send to her own friends and family as well as original and reproduced designs created for wider and/or commercial distribution (like UNICEF card designs). Such artwork was created using a variety of media, including printmaking, pen and ink, collage, photography, and mixed media. Many original prints have titles, edition numbers, and dates. This subseries also includes Kitt's wedding invitations, including a handmade design and a store-bought design.

This series includes bound sketchbooks featuring original drawings by Kitt. This includes life drawings of figure models, still life studies, and other drawings.

This series consists of visual artwork created by Kitt for use in printed material, like stationary, business cards, event promotion, and promotion for companies/organizations. Many of these materials were created by Kitt during her career as a graphic designer in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
