Scope and Contents
The collection features manuscripts for ten of Kay Hooper's romance titles dating from 1991-1999. For each of the novels, there is one or more of the following: copy-edited manuscripts, hardcover edition galley proofs, paperback (mass market) edition galley proofs. In some instances, the manuscript is accompanied by a cover letter from the editor of the novel.
Biographical / Historical
Kay Hooper is the author of more than 60 books in the thriller, romantic suspense, paranormal romance, and contemporary romance genres. Her first book, Lady Thief, was published as a Dell Candlelight Regency Romance in 1981. She wrote contemporary, fantasy and historical category romances for Dell, Silhouette and Loveswept before shifting towards single title paranormal and romantic suspense in the 1990s. Hooper also wrote romances under the pen name Kay Robbins.
Kay Hooper now mainly writes thrillers and mysteries, primarily in the world of FBI Profiler Noah Bishop.
