Biographical / Historical
Linda Varner Palmer published her first novel, Heart of the Matter under the name Linda Varner, in 1989. Over the next ten years she published 20 more romance titles, all for Silhouette's Romance line. During that period, she was a Romance Writers of America (RWA) RITA finalist, in 1993 and 1996.
After a short hiatus from writing, Linda returned with a focus on young adult, new adult, and adult paranormal romance. She now writes as Linda V. Palmer and Jael Gates. Palmer won the 2011 and 2012 EPIC eBook awards in the Young Adult category. She has also won the Paranormal Romance Guild Critics Choice Award.
