The collection consists of photocopies of the following manuscripts: Breakaway House, Follow My Dust!, and The Barrakee Mystery.
Each of the manuscripts is annotated by Dr. Ray Browne, who was writing a book on Upfield's work, published as The Spirit of Australia: The Crime Fiction of Arthur W. Upfield. As such, this collection may be of more interest to scholars of Browne's work than of Upfield's.

Arthur W. Upfield (1890-1964) was an author of detective fiction, best known for his series featuring Detective Inspector Napoleon "Bony" Bonaparte of the Queensland Police Force.
