Scope and Contents
The collection consists of an edited and annotated manuscript for Sarah Wendell's 2011 book Everything I Know About Love I Learned From Romance Novels, in addition to promotional materials for Smart Bitches, Trashy Books, a website co-founded and run by Wendell.
The manuscript will provide researchers insight into Wendell's process as a writer of non-fiction about romance, as well as the hybrid analog/digital nature of writing in the early 21st century.
The promotional materials show the evolution of the way the site has been promoted, as well as capture the irreverent sense of humor embodied by the site.
