Ohio Genealogical Society. Wood County Chapter

Collection of genealogical research files, newspaper clippings, legal documents, and photographs relating to various branches of Geraldine Thomasson's family; family names represented include Baker, Barr, Conry, Cox, Dawson, Deck, Foster, Fox, Gorrill, Hummon, Jones, Morey, Root, Ross, Scoville, Steinmetz, Upton, Ward, Warner, and Wickham families.

Research files compiled in the course of writing "It Started with Doctors on Horseback: A History of Medicine, Marking the 50th Anniversary of Wood County Hospital"; includes letters, manuscripts, research notes, news clippings, and photographs; he also used covered the same topics for his Ph.D. dissertation

The Stuller Family Papers consist of genealogical information, funeral memorial books with condolence cards, and photographs related to the family of Edward and Jennie (Walker) Stuller of Bowling Green, Ohio.

The Wilma Kidd Collection consists of mostly genealogical research notes and files compiled by Bowling Green resident Wilma (Johnson) Kidd. The material in this collection dates largely from approximately 1978 to 1989, with some primary documents collected by Mrs. Kidd dating back as far as the 18th century, which document Kidd’s ancestry and family history.

The Wood County, Ohio “Ghost Town” Photographic collection contains copy negatives with historic 19th and early 20th century views of small towns around Wood County, some with identification, gathered for copying by the Wood County Chapter, Ohio Genealogical Society. The negatives were also scanned and copied to CD for ease of use, identification sheet included.

Background information sheets, organized by township and school district, on one-room schoolhouses in Wood County, Ohio. Collected by the Wood County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society as part of the Wood County Schoolhouse Project.
